Creating a Comic has taught me to tell time.
It's been interesting working on Finishing Last. As a freelancer I was never acutely aware of what day of the week it was. Either I was working or I wasn't. Since jobs had little regard for the conventional structure of week days and even less for holidays, I never really put much thought into what was coming up in two weeks.
Working on the comic though has made it neccesary to start looking down the road. I now know a full month in advance which day Easter falls on. Look at me, a brand new man. And it's all thanks to the comic strip.
